What's Therapy Like?

Therapy is different for everyone. 

You might ask, but how many steps are there? And how long does it take to get through them?

 

Well I can’t really answer that question because it depends on a lot of things, but I can tell you...

 

Imagine the time it takes as a child to learn some of these things, responses, and behaviours. It doesn’t happen over night. On top of that, there is a lot of rewriting to do, re-learning, and convincing yourself of your worth.

Taking the first step with therapy can be scary, booking a 15-min free consultation with me won't be. You don't have to think of it as a commitment, just a chat.

Are you ready to feel better? Feel more at peace, even calm?

Therapy can help you. It helped me and so many others. Here are a few things you may start to notice in yourself over time with therapy and practice:

  • Your physical and emotional reactions may not be as strong, and may even eventually disappear entirely

  • You may notice yourself being nicer to yourself

  • You may notice yourself being more patient with others
